During 8-15 June 2022, SHUKALB conducted the 3rd<\/sup> and 4th<\/sup> training at the water utilities of Durres, Shkoder, and Fier, in the framework of the D-LeaP \u201cWater Safety Plan and Crisis Management\u201d Program. The activity is being supported by IAWD and RCDN.<\/p>\n

SHUKALB team was composed by the lead trainer Migena Kukli, co trainer Elton Hasanaj, the Executive Director, Elisabeta Po\u00e7i and Franceska Troka, Program Coordinator.<\/p>\n

During the training, the utilities staff presented the work done so far, on the Water Safety Plan and the Crisis Management Organization Chart.<\/p>\n

With assistance from the trainers, the participants were able to simulate the role of crisis manager and the other key positions in the case of responding to a crisis situation, mastering the 60 \u2018framework of situation assessment and decision making. In addition, they completed and presented the draft Water Safety Plan and the draft Crisis Management Plan of their respective utilities.<\/p>\n

As the next and final steps of the program, the water utilities will finalize the Water Safety Plan and the Crisis Management Plan, and will officially approve them through the Administrative Council as internal documents to be used and referred to in case of a crisis event.<\/p>\n
