Everyone can make a difference by changing the way we use, consume and manage water in our lives.<\/p>\n<p>As traditionally, SHUKALB supported water utilities across Albania to organize public awareness and education activities in their cities. SHUKALB prepared and distributed short videos and posters with informative and awareness raising messages on the importance of saving water, understanding the water bill, that were further used by water utilities in organizing their digital awareness campaign through their social media.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6973\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6973\" style=\"width: 1348px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6973\" src=\"https:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/DBU-23_Shkoder.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1348\" height=\"710\" srcset=\"https:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/DBU-23_Shkoder.png 1348w, https:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/DBU-23_Shkoder-300x158.png 300w, https:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/DBU-23_Shkoder-1024x539.png 1024w, https:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/DBU-23_Shkoder-768x405.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1348px) 100vw, 1348px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6973\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Celebration of the World Water Day in Shkoder.<br \/>Photo Credit: Shkoder Water Supply and Sewerage Company (Shkoder WSSC)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In addition, SHUKALB prepared and distributed leaflets with awareness messages, T-shirts, Tote bags, and pins with WWD logo and the logo of the water utilities, which were used by water utilities in organizing their traditional awareness campaign in their respective cities.<\/p>\n<p>In the city of Kor\u00e7a students of elementary and high schools chose to visit the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The staff of Kor\u00e7a Regional Water Supply and Sewerage Company (Kor\u00e7a RWSSC) informed them about the operation of the plant, the method of biological treatment of the wastewater with an aeration system, its technological process, as well as the full compatibility of the plant with European standards.<\/p>\n<p>In the city of Shkoder, Shkoder Water Supply and Sewerage Company (Shkoder WSSC), with the support of Shkoder Municipality, prepared a public event at the center of the town. The focus of the event was to inform citizens about the services offered by the utility, raising awareness about saving drinking water as a vital asset for humanity, why should we pay the water bill and what do we pay on water bill?
