In preparation for 2024, SHUKALB is conducting a training needs assessment (TNA) survey to identify specific training gaps and identify the knowledge and skills required by staff in water supply and sewerage (WSS) companies. This survey is distributed to all WSS companies in Albania.<\/p>\n<p>The results of the TNA survey will be deliberated in a validation meeting with representatives from various stakeholder groups, including AKUK, ERRU, WSS Companies, LGU Associations, Trainers, and Donors\/IFI. This collaborative approach ensures a complete understanding of training needs within the WSS sector. Following this process, SHUKALB will compile the training calendar for 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Simultaneously, SHUKALB has outlined several capacity development (CD) programs for 2024, specifically tailored to address the needs of WSS companies and the broader water sector. These programs are established in collaboration with strategic regional partnerships. SHUKALB has sought financial support from initiatives like Danube Learning Partnership (D-LeaP) and Regional Network for Capacity Development (RCDN+) Project. This support enables reduced participation fees for WSS companies, reaffirming SHUKALB&#8217;s commitment to their professional growth and development. Administrator\/Deputy, Technical Manager, Engineers, and Municipal staff of Communal Affairs Department.<\/li>\n<li>Key objective: To enable the participants in identifying the operational hazards, developing preparedness and response plans to efficiently responding to incidents during crises or disasters. We also look forward to the registrations of WSS companies in the upcoming CD Programs.
