This workshop focused on the sectors of transport infrastructure, environment, water, energy, and cultural heritage. Held during Italy Week, the event aimed to foster cooperation between Italian companies and their Albanian and Kosovar counterparts.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop saw participation from a diverse array of representatives, including Italian, Albanian, and Kosovar companies; the Albanian Association of Consulting Engineers; the Association of Architects of Albania; the Association of Builders of Albania; the Association of Builders of Kosovo; the National Institute of Cultural Heritage of Albania; the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation of Albania; the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania; as well as representatives from various international financial institutions.<\/p>\n<p>SHUKALB was represented at the event by Elisabeta Po\u00e7i, the Executive Director of SHUKALB. She was invited as a speaker and delivered a presentation titled \u201cSnapshot of the Albanian Water Supply and Wastewater Sector.\u201d In her presentation, Ms. Po\u00e7i provided an insightful overview of the water sector in Albania, covering the institutional setup, major ongoing reforms, water sector performance indicators, water and wastewater investment needs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. She also offered valuable advice on how to approach the Albanian market effectively.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop served as a platform for sharing knowledge, discussing challenges, and exploring opportunities for sustainable development in the participating countries.
