{"id":8436,"date":"2024-08-21T16:32:36","date_gmt":"2024-08-21T14:32:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shukalb.al\/?p=8436"},"modified":"2024-08-21T16:32:47","modified_gmt":"2024-08-21T14:32:47","slug":"8436","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shukalb.al\/?p=8436&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Request for Expressions of Interest \u2013 Consultant"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Request for Expressions of Interest \u2013 Consultant<\/h1>\n<p>SHUKALB has received financing for a Grant titled \u201cStrengthened Responsive Services to the WSS Sector-Specific Needs in Albania through Capacity Development and Advocacy Activities\u201d in the frame of the project Regional Capacity Development Network (RCDN +) for Water and Sanitation services in SEE.<\/p>\n<p>The project \u201cRegional Capacity Development Network (RCDN) for Water and Sanitation Services\u201d aims at increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Associations of Public Utilities (APUCs) and of Local Governments (LGAs) in the six Western Balkan countries, which contributes to better service provision for and by their members, ultimately allowing to deliver equitable, safely managed drinking water and sanitation services to the population, in line with international standards.<\/p>\n<p>The overall objective of this assignment is to strengthen SHUKALB\u2019s advocacy and policy dialogue efforts on two important topics for the water sector in Albania, namely <strong>(1) the human resource management<\/strong> and <strong>(2) wastewater management<\/strong> through mobilizing two expert working groups representing the key water sector stakeholders in Albania.<\/p>\n<p>The specific objectives of the assignment are to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish an Inter Institutional Working Group for Human Resources Management (IIWG-HRM) in the water sector in Albania.<\/li>\n<li>Engage the IIWG-HRM into a policy dialogue through two scheduled meetings<\/li>\n<li>Establish an Inter Institutional Working Group for Wastewater Management (IIWG-WWM) in the water sector in Albania.<\/li>\n<li>Engage the IIWG-WWM into a policy dialogue through two scheduled meetings<\/li>\n<li>Develop a Position Paper on a specific topic deriving from the discussions of the IIWG-HRM\/ IIWG-WWM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>More details about the required services are found in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shukalb.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/ToR-for-Consultant-for-Working-Groups.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Terms of Reference (ToR<\/span>)<\/a><\/strong> document.<\/p>\n<p>SHUKALB invites eligible and qualified consultants to indicate their interest in undertaking this assignment.
