On November 18, 2024, Kor\u00e7a Regional Water Supply and Sewerage Company (Kor\u00e7a RWSSC) was honored with First Prize in the medium-sized company category at the UN Sustainable Enterprises Assessment ceremony in Tirana. This prestigious recognition came as part of the \u201cSDG Business Pioneers Award\u201d, a national competition launched by UNDP Albania under the \u201cBusiness Partnerships & Solutions for SDGs\u201d joint UN project.<\/p>\n

The competition aims to highlight enterprises demonstrating exceptional commitment to sustainability while contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year\u2019s event attracted 67 companies from various sectors and sizes, showcasing their contributions to sustainable and inclusive economic growth across Albania.<\/p>\n

Kor\u00e7a RWSSC was celebrated for its leadership in sustainability, its commitment to environmental protection, and its efforts to reduce pollution. The company was recognized for integrating the SDGs into its operations and for its visionary approach, ensuring a sustainable future for the communities it serves. This award underscores the company\u2019s role as a responsible and forward-thinking business in Albania.<\/p>\n
