Request for Expressions of Interest \u2013 Trainers for the Delivery of Wastewater Program 1B \u201cIntroduction to Wastewater Systems for managers and engineers\u201d<\/strong><\/h1>\n

SHUKALB has received financing for a Project Grant titled \u201cStrengthened Responsive Services to the WSS Sector-Specific Needs in Albania through Capacity Development and Advocacy Activities\u201d commissioned from the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and administratively embedded in the GIZ Project \u201cOpen Regional Fund for Southeast Europe – Modernization of Municipal Services (ORF MMS)\u201d.<\/p>\n

SHUKALB successfully piloted the Wastewater CD Program during 2021. Yet, such a program is needed for more technical level staff of municipalities and WU in the view of ongoing and up-coming wastewater infrastructure investments projects in Albania. The program\u2019s objective is to improve awareness of Managers and engineers to take an active role during planning and implementation of the wastewater infrastructure. The program will target the Management and technical staff<\/p>\n

The objective of this assignment is to engage co-trainers from the SHUKALB\/RCDN Pool of Trainers (PoT)<\/strong> who will deliver the Wastewater CD Program 1B \u201cIntroduction to Wastewater Systems for managers and engineers\u201d<\/strong> in Albania, in line with the RCDN Quality Standards (QSs) for Training Delivery.<\/p>\n

The targeted audience for the training will be up to 15 participants<\/strong>, including management and technical staff of PUCs and municipalities who are in the project implementation phase or the design phase of WWTP.<\/p>\n

SHUKALB intends to engage a Lead Trainer <\/strong>for Module 1: Regulation and Financing <\/strong>and Module 2: Technology <\/strong>and two co-trainers, <\/strong>one per each Module.<\/p>\n
