SHUKALB Organizes its General Assembly Meeting <\/strong><\/h1>\n

On April 23, 2026, SHUKALB held its regular General Assembly Meeting in Tirana, bringing together representatives of water supply and wastewater utilities from across the country, as well as representatives of private member companies. The meeting focused on presenting the achievements of 2025, approving key financial documents, and setting priorities for 2026.<\/p>\n

The meeting was opened by the President, Mr. Petrit Tare, who assessed 2025 as one of the most successful years for the association, highlighting the organization of the Balkans Joint Conference and Exhibition, which achieved high standards in terms of quality and participation. He also emphasized the contribution of private member companies to the development of the sector through innovative solutions and technologies.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, a comprehensive overview of the 2025 activities was presented, including membership, training, projects, and awareness and outreach programs. Particular attention was given to the results of the Balkans Joint Conference, as well as data from the annual survey conducted with members and stakeholders.<\/p>\n

The Assembly unanimously approved the financial report for 2025, as well as the budget plan for 2026. The work plan for the coming year was also presented, focusing on capacity development, membership growth, and the expansion of activities supporting the sector.<\/p>\n

Discussions also covered specific issues related to the functioning and development of the association, as well as proposals for new activities and training programs, including forward-looking topics such as artificial intelligence in management, reflecting the sector\u2019s need to keep pace with emerging technologies.<\/p>\n
